Got that FEVER

That Fever....this could refer to several things.  Beiber Fever, baby fever, an actual fever.  In this case, it refers to houses.  We have home owner fever!  Aaron and I are really wanting to become home owners.  We both spend quite a bit of time looking at houses online.  Right now, we are still just looking and deciding what things we like, but hopefully within the year, we will have our first house together!  Very exciting stuff :)

On to another fever...my favorite kind...BEIBER FEVER!  I will admit, I have a mild case of it.  He is so cute and I really like his music.  I have considered seeing his movie, however, I don't think I could handle sitting in a theater with a bunch of middle school girls squealing over him.  That may be a Red Box kind of movie :)  Anywho, I enjoyed his performance on the Grammy's tonight, although I wish he would dress differently.  He looked like a mini Usher.  It works for Usher, not Justin.  Also, who exactly is the girl who won New Artist of the Year?  I have NEVER heard of her.  Justin was robbed!
Speaking of the Grammy's, here is my favorite look of the night.  Gorgeous!
Well, I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day tomorrow!  Gotta finish the brownies for my kiddos at school :)

Green and Yellow

I always have trouble getting excited for the superbowl when the Cowboys aren't in it.  Obviously, I haven't been excited about the superbowl in a LONG time.  This year was different though.  I was excited, but for a different reason.  I found a really cute dessert just for football that I took to MawMaw's house.  Here is what it looked like.
They are a pumpkin/spice cupcake with a yummy filling in the middle.  They were a little time consuming to make and I didn't have the right shaped pan, but you still get the gist of what they should look like.  If you want to try to make them, I found the recipie here.
Football Whoopie Pies  They are DELISH!
I was looking forward to the commercials and was pretty disappointed again.  Nothing too great.  The half-time show is always another thing I look forward to but this year I was NOT impressed.  The Black Eyed Peas were decent, Usher doesn't even sing, just dances, mics weren't working right....blah.  The best part of the superbowl this year was actually the GAME!  I wanted the Packers to win and wore my green and yellow all day.  One of my good friends at work is a big time Packer fan so I know she will be happy at work tomorrow :)
With the superbowl came all of this crazy weather.  I enjoyed 4 days off this past week.  It was the best on Friday when we actually had some snow to play in.  I will leave you with a few pics of our family enjoying the snow!

Too Long

So, it has been a very long time since the last time that I blogged.  Oops :)  My "New Year's Resolution", made in February, is to become better at blogging.

Well, since the last time I blogged, alot has happened!  Aaron and I had our first Christmas together!  We spend Christmas with my family this year so we had to celebrate it with his family the week before.  Let me just say that we were completely spoiled by both of our families and each other.  My favorite gifts were tickets to 4 different Rangers games from his parents, a gorgeous new coat from my parents, and a purse and watch from Aaron.  Aaron was decked out for hunting by everyone.  He got a shotgun from my parents, a hunting suit for cold weather from his parents, and then from me, tickets to a Yankees spring training game in Florida!  We can't wait to escape for a weekend getaway to Tampa over spring break to watch the game and have a little fun.  I didn't even realize it when I was ordering our tickets that our trip will fall right on our 6 month anniversary!  Perfect!

After Christmas came our birthdays!  Yay for being 26.  Ummmm, maybe not yay.  But, I got an amazing present.  Aaron got me my wedding band :)  Here is a pic of the two rings together.
Love it!
Aaron got a black Fossil watch he had been wanting for his birthday.
With the first day of February came and ice storm that has kept me at home for the last 3 days!  The only thing that would have made it better would be Aaron staying at home with Griff and I.  Oh well, it has sure been nice to be productive lazy at home :)
